Bob Johnson has been selected as the new Director of Development for the Alaska Conservation Foundation. His vast experience in fundraising, communications, and economic and community development make him a valuable new asset to the ACF staff.
For the past seven years, Bob has assisted a variety of charitable organizations by leading capital campaigns and preparing and implementing strategic and communication plans. Throughout his career, he has served in multiple capacities with numerous nonprofit organizations around the country, including the roles of CEO and Development Director, and is also well-versed in planned giving. In total, Bob has raised more than $25 million in donations and grants.
Bob received a BS degree from Michigan State University (Honors College) with a major in marketing, and a law degree from Harvard (cum laude). Bob and his wife, Ciari, relocated to Anchorage at the end of November. Their hobbies include hiking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, fishing, and photography.
